Some of West Point's Beautiful Neighborhoods include:
Certified Main Street Community
West Point was one of the original Main Street Program cities in Mississippi. Impeccably clean and attractively old-fashioned, stunning public parks are placed throughout town presenting an inviting and congenial atmosphere that transcends throughout the entire community. The Main Street Approach is a community-driven, comprehensive strategy used to revitalize downtown and neighborhood business districts. The board and volunteers work very hard to beautify the community, educate property owners about historic preservation while providing a calendar full of events and activities that keep families and individuals downtown and around town. The West Point Main Street Association is a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Mississippi Main Street Program. (Link to "Community Development & Main Street" page)
